RISE to Bring SHIMMER Champion to Norwich

We are proud to announce that Bellatrix Female Warriors will be working alongside one of the United States’ top women’s wrestling promotions to bring some of their talented wrestlers across the Atlantic later this year.

Two of the world’s top female competitors will be making the visit to Norwich in September including current SHIMMER Champion Mercedes Martinez and former Bellatrix World Champion Courtney Rush, now known as Rosemary, making her long awaited return. Over three years have passed since either wrestler last appeared at a Bellatrix event, and many new young Warriors have debuted with a desire to show that they can compete at a similarly high level. The SHIMMER Championship itself was last seen at a Bellatrix event when then champion Saraya Knight successfully defended the title against Destiny in a British Rules match. Could Saraya be eyeing up a second title reign?

Several future prospects will also be making the journey over to represent RISE as the future of women’s wrestling continues to grow stronger each day. Chelsea Green (better known as Laurel Van Ness), Phoenix of RISE Champion Shotzi Blackheart and previous champion Dust, as well as Jewells Malone, Deonna Purrazzo and Charli Evans will all be journeying to the UK to represent RISE this September. These talented young wrestlers have a bright future and will be very eager to show off their skills in front of a brand new audience.

In addition to the presence of these fantastic RISE wrestlers for the live show at Epic, their first ever international World Class Development Seminar will take place at WAW House, led by none other than Mercedes Martinez herself joined by legendary female wrestler Madusa! If you’re an aspiring female wrestler you can register to take part in this amazing opportunity by clicking here.

Bellatrix 26/RISE 4: Warrior’s Rise will take place at Epic Studios, Norwich on September 15th as a co-promoted event and will feature members of both rosters competing throughout the night.
