I have had many tough matches from zebra kid down to london inc, but i think that aron frost at the talk was a tough one for me! A4. i would to think i have changed big time compared to my mini michaels days! i feel i have stepped up and prove a can make it as myself (zak zodiac) then ripping off wwe workers haha.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q5 You have been on many of WAW's biggest shows, what has been your highlight so far?
This is a hard question, i feel that every waw big show is a special one to me, but i think bein on the same show as zebra and isaksen was a highlight for me!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q6 You have been involved in the WAW training academy, who would you say have a good chance of being the future of the wrestling business right now?
There is alot of good talent in the waw academy, all of which have a long career in waw, but shining through right now are people like, scott fusion, jo fx, london inc, alex young! but they are shining through because they are working more than others! they all deserve praise!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JET LOGAN INTERVIEW

WAWUK.COM conducted an interview with Jet Logan, the leader of WAW'S number 1 faction London INC
Q1 Were you a fan of wrestling growing up and if so which wrestlers were your favourites?
Oh course I was, you Muppet! My favourites growing up were, Mr Perfect, Jim Breaks, Johnny Kincaid, The British Bulldog, the Rockers and The Hollywood Blondes (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q2 How did you end up in the wrestling business?
Originally I wanted to be a promoter, but realised that I knew nothing about actually running a show.
So I went along to the FWA talent search in the summer of 2002, and made connections there, started attending their shows a few months later, then from there I started helping out at shows, then after being inspired by Flash Barker vs. Low Ki, I began training under the tutelage of the Legendary Tony Scarlo in early summer of 2003
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q3 How did you come to end up in WAW?
After bouncing around various wrestling schools for a few years, I had a chance meeting with Sweet Saraya, at a HEW show in December 2007, and after talking to her, I decided to give the WAW training school a shot, and the rest is history
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q4 You began in WAW as a singles wrestler before deciding to form London INC, why did you decide to form this stable?
Simply put, as great as I am (and I am GREAT!), I couldn't fight through the political mine field which exists in WAW by myself any longer. So I made a called DKJ, and he helped bring Amazon and Ananya on board and you and everyone in WAW, (and HEW) has seen first hand the mayhem we have caused.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q5 London INC consists of yourself and 3 other members, DKJ, Amazon and Ananya, could you tell us a bit about each of them and what they bring to the stable?
DKJ is the workhorse of the team, he brings supreme technical wrestling ability and the swagger that only a Londoner can bring, and is the perfect compliment to my slow methodical style.
Amazon, is the enforcer of the group, taking care of anyone who steps out of line and is well on her way to becoming the most dominant force in women's wrestling
Ananya is the mouthy one, who knows just how to rile up a crowd and she also has a very bright future in the wrestling business.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q6 London INC have been going 1 year now, how do you think that year as gone?
Been a bit of mixed bag, but overall I’d say that the first year of London INC has gone well and we have done what we set out to which was put ourselves firmly on the map.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q7 Who would you say has been your toughest opponent so far in WAW?
Begrudgingly, I’d say it has to be Harry Horoscope… I mean Zak Zodiac,
He has stood across the ring from us on several occasions and taken a beating every time, but keeps on coming back for more
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q8 So what are your plans for London INC in the months and years to come?
Tag team championship gold, one, if not all of the belts that Britani Knight currently holds, for either Amazon or Ananya and the continued raise and success of London INC
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q9 On the January 10th WAW Academy show after, your defeat to Zak Zodiac you decided to attack manager Sam Knee, what was the reason behind this, being that Knee had helped DKJ to a win earlier in the night?
Are you being serious? That worthless piece of crap cost me the match against my biggest nemesis, and you ask me why I did it? He’s lucky that I’d just had a gruelling match or he’d have got a lot worse.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q10 Do you have a message for the fans of WAW?
The best wrestlers in the UK are in WAW, but the best wrestlers in WAW are from LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNDON!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SAM KNEE INTERVIEW

WAWUK.NET conducted an interview with WAW's number 1 manager Sam Knee about his career, HEW and his thoughts on some of WAW's stars to read both these go to the Interviews page
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q1 Where you a fan of wrestling growing up and if so which wrestlers where your favourites?
Of course! it didn't matter what i was doing when i was younger if wrestling was on I dropped everything, my favourite in American wrestling was The Ultimate Warrior even though looking back his matches were absolutely awful back then i thought he was brilliant lol, British wrestling I have to say Drew Mcdonald who is an awesome villain.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q2 How did you end up in the wrestling business?
well it was always something I wanted to be involved with from an early age and when i left school in 1996 i went to the hammerlock training school in Kent although my dreams of being a wrestler were cut short by tearing the cruciate ligament in my knee which still gives me trouble to this day, I done a few behind the scene jobs for FWA around 2003-2004 and then 2005 I started HEW and the rest is history.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q3 You arrived in WAW and proclaimed that you where going to take it over, a few years later and you are still trying, so what have you got next to archive this goal?
I've always said a great manager always has a plan... keep your eyes open and all will become clear soon.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q4 What do you think of the other heel faction in WAW, London INC and could you see yourself joining forces with them to destroy WAW?
I like them, I think they are great at what they do... never say never but i think they are doing ok on there own.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q5 You formed your own company HEW (Herts and Essex Wrestling), how does this company differ from others?
it's different because it's a small show at small hall with a big feel, plus being that the company is pretty controversial with some of the things we have done the future is bright for HEW especially with the big show we have planned for August 22nd at Towerlands Park, Braintree.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q6 In HEW you have the faction The Devils Playboys that features Brett "The Kraft" Meadows, so being you have that partnership why are you not managering him in WAW?
I would like to don't get me wrong, however in WAW I don't have Brett's contract even though I have tried countless times to buy the contract WAW will not release the contract to me, that is WAW's call which i respect even though i don't agree with.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q7 If you could manage any wrestler past or present who would it be?
I'd like to say Brett Meadows in WAW but at the moment it doesn't look likely also maybe The Superflys who are the best tag team in British wrestling full stop but again can't see it happening.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q8 So of the wrestlers you currently manage which do you think has the best chance of making you the manager of champions again?
at the moment Judas.... by the time I'm finished he will be the new World champion... watch out Zebra kid!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q9 Where do you see yourself in WAW this time next year?
this time next year WAW will be mine! bwahahahahaha!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q10 Do you have a message for the fans of WAW?
yeah you say Gayboy I say F**K you!!!!! carry on!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JASON CROSS INTERVIEW

WAWUK.NET conducted an exclusive interview with WAW's commissioner about his early career and his upcoming match with Zak Zodiac against London INC
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q1 Hi Jason thank you for taking this time out for this interview, how did you start in the wrestling business and who trained you? A. I started training in 1988,it all came about throught attending a wrestling show in cardiff and enquiring. I was put in touch with a guy called Roy Harley (who also trained Danny Boy Collins,Ritchie Brooks,Pete Collins,Peter Bainbridge etc) and i started training about a fortnight later. I had to travel to Cheltenham every sunday for training and in those days if you missed a training session, then you weren't welcome back,it was door closed. I then made my professional debut on February 11th 1989.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q2 Where you a fan of it and if so who was your favorite wrestler? A. I was a wrestling fan from a young age and used to regularly to attend shows in and around cardiff ,as well as regular shows at the colston hall in Bristol. My favourite wrestler was always Danny Boy Collins (don't ever tell him that LOL),he was only 7 or 8 years older than me and he really paved the way for the next crop of youngsters to come into the wrestling business. I was also a fan of Chic Cullen,Fit Finlay,Marty Jones,Basically the guys who could really wrestle.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q3 How did you come to end up in WAW? A. I retired in 2000 and was out of the business until i attended a show somewhere in the welsh valleys,to check the improvement on a trainee i'd had a hand in training a few years before. Needless to say,he hadn't improved in the slightest,he was still shit! Ricky Knight was on the show and he spotted me as he was on his way back from the ring after his match,he asked me why i wouldnt come back to the wrestling business and tried encouraging me to come back. I really didnt want to but rick is a convincing man LOL,I ended up challenging rick the very next night, and the rest is history. I did a mixed tag team match with Destiny against Rick and Sweet Saraya and again the following night. The matches went so well that i sort of got the bug back a bit,Rick and Saraya asked me to be a guest trainer for the february 2005 training school and i've been here ever since.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q4 You have faced some of WAW's best wrestlers, who would you say was your toughest opponent? A. In WAW my toughest opponent simply has to be the World Heavyweight Champion, the Zebra Kid. The intensity he brings to the ring is really something to behold and a lot of the younger wrestlers should at least try to watch the way Zebra wrestles, they can learn so much. Lets not forget that the guy can really wrestle technical style as well,he can fly,and is the best brawler around. The aura he creates is simply amazing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q5 You are also one of the head trainers with Sweet Saraya of the WAW academy, who would you say have a good chance of being the future of the wrestling business right now? A. I think the best prospects are Britani Knight,a phenomenal talent and probably the second best female wrestler in europe, second only to her mum. The girl has so much talent its scary,i get a real buzz when i show her something in training and then i watch her do it to perfection in a match.A huge future ahead of her!!! Scott Fusion is a real good prospect as well,he has come a long way in his short time in the wrestling business. A good, solid technical wrestler who can also fly a bit,but more important is that he really strikes a chord with the fans.I get the impression he could take a shit on the pope in wembley stadium in front of a sell out crowd, and still get cheered LOL. Joe Fx is another great talent,he was originally trained at the pitbull gym but really polished his skills at WAW,another one with a huge future ahead of him. Marco Marinelli is probably one of the most entertaining wrestlers anywhere, period. Its great to see the improvement he has made and has become a mainstay on the main WAW roster in a short space of time. He is great to watch and keeps me entertained, which is not easy to do. Lets not forget his manager,Sam Knee.Even though in WAW we don't see eye to eye,you can't take away from the fact he's the best manager around by a country mile. The Future certainly looks bright for the trainees :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q6 After a few years of in ring competition you had the chance to become WAW commissioner, how is this job different from what you have done before in WAW? A. Its different because it doesn't involve in-ring competition. When i was first offered the position i was a bit sceptical, but i've had some of the best fun i've had in this business,as commissioner. I've had some great talent to work with and have enjoyed every minute of it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q7 Since becoming WAW commissioner you have been the main target of Sam Knee in his quest to take over WAW, do you have any plans for Mr Knee in the coming few months? A. Now that would be telling!!!! Sam Knee is an idiot, his attempt to control WAW has about as much chance of succeeding as Gary Glitter has of becoming government minister for children.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q8 On a show earlier this year Zak Zodiac was attacked by London INC, after that match he offered you the chance to tag up with him against them, you have had offers of matches before including being called out by Karl Krammer at the talk in Norwich so what made this offer different from all the others for you to accept it? A. What you're failing to remember,is that i DID accept Karl Kramer's challenge!!! He simply got sidetracked the very same night with Earl Ling, which seems to be his main concern at the moment. Mark my words,as soon as thy're done a Karl Kramer v Jason Cross match is an absolute must! The reason i accepted Zak's call for a tag team partner is simple. He is an amazing young talent and one of the very best around, yet he was at a real dissadvantage by trying to battle London INC on his own. Jet Logan decided to get in my face, which was a real stupid thing to do,so i was only too happy to take up Zak's offer. I'm really looking forward to the match!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q9 Does this mean a return to full time in ring competition and how would this effect your job as WAW Commissioner? A. Who knows? I would never come back full time but a regular wrestling schedule is certainly on the cards. I really enjoy it in WAW i have a list of people i have to wrestle before i can call it quits permanently, some old opponents and some new. Without revealing the whole list,i can tell you that it includes a great young talent called Aaron Frost. This kid is amazing,he reminds me so much of the late, great,Izak Rain. I always promised Izak a match, but his untimely passing meant that it didn't happen. I would feel a whole lot better by giving a match to Aaron, who is virtually the wrestling double of Izak. It would be a real privelige to wrestle him. Another name on the list is none other than Sweet Saraya, this might seem a bit odd but she is by far the best female wrestler around. We rib each other about it all the time, but i would really love to do a technical wrestling match, over rounds, against the standard bearer for ladies wrestling. I think we would both be up for it and it could be real fun. It would have to be an exhibition contest, but this would still take nothing away from it. Another real privelige to do. I'm not sure how this would affect my role as commissioner, thats a bridge i would have to cross when i come to it. After 20yrs of wrestling,i think i'm coming to the end of the road now, i always said i would finally call it a day when i was still wrestling to a good standard. The commissioner job gives me something else to do LOL
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q10 Do you have a message for the fans of WAW? A. The WAW fans are the best around,i've never come across a more knowlegable and passionate set of fans anywhere in the world. They make it a pleasure to perform on WAW shows. I ask any wrestler anywhere,to watch a dvd of a show at the talk,or a bank holiday show in yarmouth, and tell me that the WAW fans aren't the best. They simply can't!!
Thank you for your time
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q6: On the 18th of April you will be running one of your charity shows at Lowestoft to honor your son who died last year and to raise money for Addenbrookes hospital, could you tell us more about Jordan Smith please for the people who never met him?
Jordan was a very happy kid with lots to look forward to in life he was always making people smile and lived life to the full he was always polite to people and the first to help anyone weather he new them or not . he was out with his friends one night and complained of a headache where to cut a long story short he was having a stroke he was rushed to addenbrookes hospital for a life saving opp but it was to far gone. sadly he died the next day aged just 17 a great loss to our family. so we have put this show together in his memory and the profit of the show will go to the nccu at addenbrookes hospital where Jordan was treated.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q7: How much are you hoping to raise from the charity show for Addenbrookes hospital?
We will try and raise as much money as possible for this very important piece of equipment (portable head scanner) which will cut vital time when a patient needs it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q8: The main event of the show is yourself vs British wrestling legend Danny Boy Collins, are you looking forward to fighting Collins and do you believe as the fans do it may be a match of the year contender?
Well i hope so. i am very much looking forward to this as Danny was one of jordan's favorite wrestlers because Jordan had a kidney removed when he was a baby and Danny also has had one removed so there's the reason for Danny being his favorite wrestler. all i can do isgo out there and put a good show on for Jordan and just hope he is watching were ever he is.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q9: You are in a series of matches with Brett "The Kraft" Meadows at the minute but do you see yourself maybe challenging for the Light Heavyweight title again, what is the future for Steve Quintain right now in WAW?
If the chance is there well who knows . i will keep going as long as my health and fans let me in waw
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q10: Do you have a message for you fans in WAW?
These are the best fans ever they have always been behind me in every match i have and i thank them for that so i hope that they come to lowestoft and support me in this one i will need their support as it will be hard on the night not only wrestling Danny but what the show is for .
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for your time Steve
Thank you for asking me to do this interview
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RICKY KNIGHT INTERVIEW
WAW in 2009 will be 15 years old, today WAWUK.NET have taken the time to interview the founder and promoter of WAW Ricky Knight to get his thoughts on WAW and the 15 years it has been around
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q1: For those who dont know or are reading this for the first time give the fans a brief history of the reasons why you started WAW in the first place?
Myself, jimmy Ocean and Saraya got very disullusioned at the way wrestling was going back then, promoters seem to loose faith and the business was a mess, we just felt we could do better.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q2: Did you think that when you where taking those first steps in promoting WAW that you would be sitting here 15 years later still doing it?
To be honest i did not know how long we would last, we lost a fair bit off money as wrestling was on a down turn but we always had faith in the business and ourselves.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q3: In the 15 years of WAW what do you believe has been the highest point so far?
Without doubt fightmare 2001, 2000 sell out at the norwich sports village it was amazing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q4: How has british wrestling changed from when you first started out 15 years ago?
Its become more americanised too many feel thats the way to go, imports rather than push brit talent, short term fix rather than long term haul, WAW is still british and proud.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q5: When WAW began you relied on more word of mouth to get fans to attend shows, now with the internet and various fan forums around access to British wrestling for fans is alot easier, do you think the internet then has been a good thing regarding British wrestling or not?
To me the internet does nout either way in surveys maybe i fan in 100 who attend our shows are from the net. it does help with publicity getting our name out there etc but attendances no.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q6: With the successful training school plus the introduction of the WAWW things are looking bright for the future but are there any other plans you have to take WAW further forward in the future?
With our tv deal at pulse going belly up i will still strive to get our product on tv in the future.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q7: With Zak Zodiac and Zebra Kid both getting offers from America plus WAW wrestlers touring over most of Europe you must feel happy that wrestlers who have came through the WAW training school are now making names for themselves?
I say without biase we have the best academy and trainers in europe no school can match our trainers experience. we have some great talent coming through and in 2009 they will come to the fore.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q8: Last year was a very on/off year for you, you turned heel and teamed once again with Superflys tag partner Jimmy Ocean but then injury kept you out of most of the second half of the year, so what is the plan for Ricky Knight in 2009?
My plan is to just get back to what i love doing most being in the squared circle entertaining the fans love me or hate me.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q9: Do you have a message for the fans of WAW?
Yes they are the best in the uk and i promise them some great action in 2009.
Thankyou for your time
