statement from premier promotions, re WAW ladies rematch in Worthing
Sweet Saraya and Britani Knight are set for one of the biggest showdowns ever in British women’s wrestling.

The mother and daughter team will go head to head with bitter rivals Amazon and Ananya in a £200-a-side return clash at the Worthing Assembly Hall on May 24, with the winners being declared the first Premier Wrestling Federation women's tag team champions.

The Knights have been gunning for the London Inc. team since they were involved in a near-riot when the two sides met at Worthing in February.

The bust-up kicked off when words were exchanged after the final bell and rapidly escalated into a mass brawl in front of stunned officials and spectators.

The referee, 18st. former heavyweight champion Flash Barker, was unable to keep the warring wrestlers apart, and as the battle raged more officials and wrestlers were forced to join in and intervene.

It eventually took ten minutes to restore order after the contest, which was won by Amazon and Ananya, and all four wrestlers were subsequently banned for three months, the first time in the 24-year history of Premier Promotions that a wrestler has been suspended for an in-ring related incident.

Saraya and Britani have backed their demands for a rematch by throwing down a big-money challenge, which has been accepted by their rivals, and Premier Promotions have responded by sanctioning the first Premier Wrestling Federation women’s tag team championship.

It all kicks off again at the Worthing Assembly Hall on May 24 when Saraya and Britani will be aiming to add more gold to the Knight dynasty's impressive PWF record, which in the past has seen Ricky Knight capture the heavyweight and mid-heavyweight titles, son Roy hold the light-heavyweight title, and Ricky and Roy reign as the tag team champions.

Tickets for the big showdown, including special reserved ringside seats and discounts for advance bookings, are available from the box office on 01903 206206 or on line via the Worthing Theatres

2 More matches signed for the Norwich show
We have 2 fantastic matches to announce for you,but first i'd like to address a few issues.
Its been noticed that marco marinelli has been shouting his mouth off yet again,on the WAW forum. Its got to the point that i'd actually stopped logging on due to the complete drivel that has been spewed from the mouth of the idiot day after day. He keeps whingeing about a lack of quality opponents, a lack of chances, but most importantly,a lack of title shots. Well marco, you HAVE earned a title shot, and if its gonna shut you up for a while, you can have it at the talk on may 16th!!!
But thats where the favours end, because your opponent is gonna be none other than the European Champion,Aron Frost. Everyone knows that Frost is a very deserving champion, and he earnt his title by proving his point in the ring, not whingeing on a public forum. I personally think you've bitten off a lot more than you can chew bolagnese breath,
So here it is, WAW European Title & Belt

The Champion
" The Pure Athlete " Aron Frost
v
The Challenger
Marco Marinelli

Which brings me onto the next match announcement, Its been made public that Zak Zodiac has vacated the British Light Heavyweight Title due to being unable to defend the belt due to his stateside commitments,so its only fair that the vacancy gets filled at the earliest opportunity.

Which brings me to "Mr Whinge" himself, Scott Fusion!! His constant harping about everything WAW sometimes makes me wonder why he's actually still here, Whilst i took great pleasure in watching his loss at the last academy show,i have to admit it was under dubious circumstances. This aside,Fusions record in the last few months has been second to none and he has earned himself a shot at the vacant title. But who is his opponent???????

What fans forget is that the British Light Heavyweight title is an OFFICIAL British title ie not just open to WAW wrestlers, but any wrestler throughout the UK who is good enough to be ranked by the championship committee. On this basis i have found you an opponent that is very familiar to the Talk, but also on an incredible winning streak throughout the UK.
So here we have it, For the vacant British Light Heavyweight Title & Belt

"perfection Personified" Scott Fusion
v
"Flying" Phil Powers

Powers has been all over the world and is in tremendous form, so you've got what you wanted Scott, but its gonna be a lot harder than you ever imagined. If i had to pick a winner here, Powers experience edges it (You'll probably whinge like hell now scott, but i care not!!!)

Sam Knee was a surprise winner of the super five match where man with most falls at the end of 20 minutes duration was the winner, but if you were put over the top rope you were eliminated from contest, Men involved were Judas, Sam Knee, TJ Daniels, Danny Blaze and Shaolin. The giant Judas dominated the early going pinning all who stood in his way, then the others suddenly realised they might not be able to pin the big guy but all four could get him over the top rope which they did. With the big man gone it was much more even, next to go was Danny Blaze who was back dropped over the top rope by Shaolin. Shaolin and Daniels both on two falls then proceeded to kick the sense out of Sam Knee, 1 fall the former trying numerous pins on Knee only to be pulled off. Shaolin and Daniels then lost it with each other, tempers flared and the stiff kicks going in could be heard all over the hall, Daniels then rushed Shaolin with a clothesline and the momentum took them both out over the top rope. Noboby was more surprised than the stunned Sam Knee when he was announced the winner.

WAW U23 CHAMPIONSHIP
Jo FX v Jonny Snott

FX retained after a great match between two stars in the making.

LADIES TAG CHALLENGE

Amazon/Britani Knight v Sweet Saraya/Destiny

People who challenge the intensity of womans wrestling should get the DVD and watch this match at times it was brutal especially some of the exchanges between Amazon and Destiny. The end came when the action splilled outside security tried to calm it down, when Amazon came through the middle rope with a plancha taking every one out including her partner Britani who was carried back to the changing rooms, Amazon then went to work on Saraya, put her on her shoulders, but failed to see Saraya tag Destiny, Amazon climbed the ropes looking for a samoen of the middle, but Saraya spun round in a sunset flip position and took Amazon of the middle in a bump that nearly broke the ring, As she landed a tagged Destiny landed a brutal running splash to win the contest for her and Saraya.

INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE MATCH

Brett Meadows Eng v Aron Frost Norway

Great display of hard hitting wrestling by two talented guys which ended in a draw of a 15 minute time limit, crowd loved it.

Marco Marinelli v Alex Young

More will be seen of these two guys very soon as they start to get the recognition they deserve, Marinelli won a entertaining match.

TAG SIN BIN CHALLENGE MATCH

London Inc/Scott Fusion v Zak Knight/Zebra Kid/Rick Knight.

The Knights won a chaotic match after a top rope elbow on Scott Fusion from Zebra Kid.

Post match all the locker room came out to wish Zak Zodiac best of luck with his apprenticeship in the USA, it was very emotional with even the crowd joining in giving Zak cards and presents.

Results from the WAW Academy show 4th April
Scott Fusion v Milky O'Hagen

Match one started with head trainer coming out to explain, that referee Mike Mann had broken down on the way to the show, Carl Ford was not well, so there was not an established referee in the building. Jason then went on to say that Ricky Jnr Zebras son had volunteered to referee first match hoping Mike Mann would soon arrive. The crowd gave 10 years old Ricky a great ovation as he entered the ring.
Once both Wrestlers had entered the ring Fusion took the mic and went on a tirade of abuse about WAW giving him, a kid as ref and an opponent not fitting his status as a main event star. He tried hard to bully the young ref, who would have none of it and when he gave Fusion his first public warning it was like norwich city had won a cup final. Fusion dominated the match but kept accusing Ricky Jnr of a slow count which the youngster played on with some real comical timing. Whilst having about his 20th pop at the ref, Milky O'hagen rolled up Fusion and Junior gave the fastest count ever for Milky to gain the win on probably his first offensive move. Milky scarpered, Fusion went mad grabbed the mic and verbally went mad on Ricky, Fusion then called to the changing room, out come Gorgon the 6ft 6" monster with manager Tommy Lee, Gorgan entered the ring and picked up the ref for a choke slam, when the front door opened in came a late arriving Zebra Kid to a reaction which was deafening, Zebra hit the ring cleared house and demanded a match with the Gorgon, that night, which was sanctioned by Jason Cross.

Amazon v Liberty

Good match with Liberty doing well against her much bigger opponent Amazon's power proving too much in the end. After the match Amazon continued to beat up the young liberty when out come Destiny after a years hiatus from WAW to challenge Amazon, the catfight that followed was brutal taking all the roster to seperate them, Destiny was dragged from the ring by security when Amazon did a middle rope plancha taking everybody down like skittles.

Gorgon w/Tommy Lee v Zebra Kid

Zebra Kid came out to a rapturous welcome and he and the gorgon put on a fantastic match already MOTY contender and we are just in April. After 20 mins of brilliant action the Kid won with his trademark top rope elbow drop. or Zebra crossing as its commonly known.

Super six match

Mick O'Rooney out scored Alex Young, Shaolin, Stan, Keifer Knowles, Micky Lynch in a 20 minutes most falls wins match.

Play boys v The Marinellis

The playboys Brett Meadows/Sam Knee v Marco Marinelli/TJ Daniels put on a real entertaining tag match, Sam Knee is really growing into the wrestling role, a good match was won by the playboys 2-1

DKJ v Zak Zodiac

In Zak's last academy match before going stateside he took on DJK of london inc in another fast hard hitting match. Zak had both Knight Grandsons in his corner cheering him on. The action went back of forth with the match going to 1-1, with DKY grabbing the refs attention, Scott Fusion came running in grabbing Rick JNR and running out
of the building, Zak ran after him, bring back Ricky, only to be counted out. Zak complained to the ref but was attacked by DKJ, fusion and Amazon, out came Zebra to help his Bro, when the dust settled a match was sanctioned for Wymondam saturday night, London Inc/Scott Fusion v The Knights, Zak, Zebra and Rick Knight.

Logan of london Inc waved to the dressing room where Tommy Lee came out with a 4 man back up and they all helped with the beat down on frost and Knee. WAW:A Carols and Carnage III, 6th December
WAW return to the Breckland Community Center for the last show of 2009!
And what a cracking main event lined up!
London Inc. vs. "Rowdy" Ricky Knight and The Zebra Kid
Last night at the Academy show, London Inc. came out and had said how they have run roughshed over every tag team in WAW and across the country. One man who had enough of listening to what London Inc. had to say out came Ricky Knight.
Ricky had said that not only the fans, but himself was sick and tired of London Inc., Rick went on to say how they have no respect because they haven't earn't it, Jet Logan went on to say how the Rowdy man was only running on about an illustrious career to which Rick replied at least he's had one.
Then the challenge was made Rick asked London Inc for a Tag team match next month at Costessey, Jet Logan said since its the season of good will and all, he will accept the challenge for the tag team match, but then Jet went on to say who's our partner?
In Jet's own words "Surely not that cripled old man Jimmy Ocean"! Rick then took the mic and said as much as he would love for it to be his Superflys tag team partner, its not as jimmy needs surgery instead its his own son the WAW World/European Heavyweight Champion The Zebra Kid!
Zebra took the mic and said despite the fact his dad and him haven't been getting on lately, he will more then gladly take his dads side and kick London Incs ass all over the building to which Rick said that they would do it tonight, but London Inc made a quick evacuation of the ringside area back to the dressing room!
So the stage is set 6th of December at the Breckland Community center WAW:A Carols and Carnage III London Inc take on The Knight Dynasty "Rowdy" Ricky Knight and The Zebra Kid!

The British Invasion win TNA Tag team titles
at Bound For Glory PPV
The British Invasion won Full Metal Mayhem to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions, while Team 3D got the IWGP Tag Team gold. One of the most violent and barbaric bouts in recent TNA history! Highlights of the bout included Scott Steiner hitting his famous Frankensteiner, and Zakk Wylde also got involved at ringside. Booker T was injured during the bout, leading to him being taken away by medical personnel. Rhino cost Team 3D their chance to become the TNA Tag Team Champions, as he knocked them off the ladder and they got the IWGP Championship back instead. In the end, Big Rob of The British Invasion throw Robert Roode out of the ring and through a table, allowing Brutus Magnus to climb the ladder to get the TNA Tag Team gold!

2 NEW MATCHES SIGNED FOR OCTOBER OUTRAGE XI
At the WAW Academy show on the 4th of October there where 2 new matches announced for October Outrage,
The first is the main event which will be for the WAW World Heavyweight championship as champion Zebra Kid defends against the man many consider the top dog in British wrestling today Martin Stone, Stone who is a multi time British heavyweight champion will be a tough opponent for Zebra Kid to get past
The second was announced after the Sam Knee vs Alex Young match and it will finally mean we have a result as to who becomes WAW commissioner after the vote ended without a result when Sam Knee and Jason Cross will face each other in a boxing match, these 2 as many WAW fans know have been going back and forth at each other for months, normally with Jason coming out on top and have already been involved in an area wide brawl last year in Great Yarmouth what many thought had finished the feud, that was until during Jason Cross's comeback match with Zak Zodiac against London INC, Sam Knee decided to attack Cross with a kendo stick restarting the feud over again, so will this match finally end the fued, will Sam Knee get revenge for the guitar shot in Yarmouth which opened up a large cut on his head, well at October Outrage XI we will all find out

So the latest matches for October Outrage XI are:

WAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
ZEBRA KID (c)  vs MARTIN STONE

BOXING MATCH (Rules to be decided)
For the post of WAW Commissioner
SAM KNEE  vs  JASON CROSS

FIRST MATCH ANNOUNCED FOR OCTOBER OUTRAGE XI
First match announced is a main event on any show in the country, with the winner walking away with an official british title.
This match sees the british light heavyweight champion,Zak Zodiac, defending his title against the essex bad boy "filthy" Phil Powers.
Zak has taken on all comers since becoming champion and is in amazing form at the moment, but with Powers taking a non-title win over him in recent competition,it was natural to give him the title shot he requested.
Zak being the fighting champion that he is,immediately agreed to the title match, but has he bitten off more than he can chew with the world travelled, very respected Powers?
Powers is the former tag partner of the man Zodiac beat for the title,Paul Tyrell,so it will be interesting to see if Zak can complete a double over these two,or on the other hand he could well end up being beaten for the title in the same venue that he claimed the coveted title and belt.
Either way its gonna be a cracker of a match, with the fans being the real winners.
British Light Heavyweight Title & Belt
10 x 3 min rounds,2 falls,2 submissions,1 KO or 1 DQ to decide the winner

WAWCC STATEMENT, RE Commissioner post

We have received complaints from Sam Knee with respect to the commissioner position in WAW. The basis of the complaint is that the current holder Jason Cross was appointed to the post rather than elected thus breaking rule 35 of the WAW handbook which states, " The position of WAW Commissioner/President should only be filled after an election, involving all employees of WAW and its fanbase, this election should not be for less than four weeks and every effort should be made to allow all who are eligable to vote to do so."

After studying Mr Knee's complaint we find in his favour and order an immediate election between Mr Sam Knee and Mr Jason Cross with a closing date of 6th Sept.

Michael Mann
Chairman
WAWCC.
