Fakenham Fury Preview – 09/03/18

Finley versus Battlekat CT
The talented young Finley takes on fellow Academy standout, Under-23 champion Battlekat CT. CT captured his first championship to much applause at the end of last year and now has a chance to cement himself at the top of the food chain amongst WAW’s next generation of wrestlers by putting down one of his most formidable future challengers.

Saraya Knight versus Innocence
Saraya Knight returns to the ring after spending several months on the sideline rehabilitating injuries against longtime rival Innocence. Will Saraya overcome her monstrous opponent now that the English Rose is back at 100%?

PJ Knight versus Ricky Knight Jr
Former tag team partners. Cousins. Third generation wrestlers. Champions. The two youngest active members of the Knight Dynasty have many things in common so far in their young careers and once again find themselves pitted against each other. Pride and bragging rights will be on the line when these two former allies meet one on one in the ring.

The Superflys [Ricky Knight and Jimmy Ocean] versus Paddy Taggart and Milky O’Hagan
Fun loving former Academy champions Paddy Taggart and Milky O’Hagan take on one of the most experienced tag teams in the world. The Superflys are known for their no-nonsense, no limits attitude towards winning and have a clear advantage over their younger opponents. But Taggart and O’Hagan often take more pride in enjoying themselves as much as possible, a tactic which may prove surprisingly effective in frustrating the Superflys.

King Kendo and Dynamo Grey vrsus Mr Hanmudo and Axl Lynch
The friendly rivalry between Mr Hanmudo and Axl Lynch takes on a new meaning as the pair team up against Undisputed World Heavyweight champion King Kendo and Dynamo Grey. Though neither team have much experience together, Hanmudo and Lynch have shared the ring together several times and know each other very well. Kendo and Grey may also have some shared understanding as former Midas Stable allies. Which duo will succeed?

Steve Marriott versus Skeletor
Steve Marriott takes part in his final match before retiring from active competition against Sigma’s Skeletor. Marriott has often shown over his career that old dogs can learn new tricks, outsmarting opponents who underestimate his abilities. Skeletor is keen to see Marriott’s career end on a sour note but the quick thinking Marriott will be doing his best to triumph over the skeletal Sigma member in this last contest.

SAS versus Brad Slayer
SAS and Brad Slayer have faced each other many times in tag team action but find themselves going head to head alone in Fakenham. Slayer has more than proven himself to be a capable singles wrestler having previously captured both the British and World Heavyweight titles after several years as part of Special Edition, one of WAW’s all-time top team teams. SAS is no slouch either though, as a former Academy champion as well as his championship successes alongside Nemesis and Big J Johnson. Which of these two heavyweights will leave Fakenham with another victory on their record?
